About Me

I’m a copywriter. I got here through a love of entrepreneurship, and through running my own startup for nearly a year. That was fun, I loved it – but more than doing the whole show, I loved the writing. I loved finding the ideas at the core of my business, learning exactly what they were, and communicating them to other people. I loved doing it in a casual, conversational way, and I loved creating a solid and welcoming brand. Most of all, I loved doing well with it. It was my thing.

And it still is. The startup has been put on hold, and I’m a full-time writer. I do a lot of different stuff – websites, blogs, sales letters, email autoresponders, etc… but I always like doing it for startups. I still like new tech, and I still live in startup culture – I may be doing an old-school profession, but I have a new-school heart.

And really, I think that’s a good thing. It puts me in a spot to do good work for a certain population (one that’s being misserved by other writers), and it puts me in a good spot to have fun doing it. That’s what I’m working on, and that’s where I am; on the path to becoming THE startup writer. This site, StartupWriting.com, is at the epicenter of that journey. More than just a resource, the blog is about seeing out my vision, and seeing if it works. We’ll see, I guess.

Thanks for coming along!
